Trust God’s hand not your own. He will hold you up. Take your mind off the world; put it on Christ. Continually seek His will for your life, keep praying, have faith in the Lord, and never forget the love He has for you. “What doesn’t kill you makes us stronger.” “We are only defeated when we quit.” “A man is not finished when he is defeated. He is finished when he quits.” – Richard M. Nixon “Opportunity often comes disguised in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat.” – – Napoleon Hill “Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent,” Don’t forget you’re human, it’s OK to have a meltdown. Just don’t unpack and live there. Cry it out and then refocus on where you are headed.” – Afflictions 1. – Corinthians 4:8-10 We are afflicted in every way, not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 2. Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Stand firm 3. Hebrews 10:35-36 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. 4. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. God saves 5. Psalm 145:19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. 6. Psalm 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. No one can stop God’s plan for you 7. Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 8. Psalm 40:5 O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. 9. Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Do not fear 10. Psalm 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? 13. Psalm 145:18 The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
August 13 – Perfection
O Jesus, help us, we beseech Thee.
Ever your Helper through dark to Light, through weakness to Power, through sin to Salvation, through danger to Security, through poverty to Plenty, through indifference to Love, through resentment to Perfect Forgiveness.
Never be satisfied with a comparison with those around you. Ever let My words ring out. “Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.” Stop short at nothing less.
Make it your practice, each of you, to review your character — take it in relation to life, to your dear ones, your household, friends, acquaintances, your country, your work.

See where I, in the same relation or circumstances or situation, should act differently. Plan how best such and such a fault can be eradicated, or such and such sin, mistake, or omission, be avoided.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see
the Lord. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God.
when we fully surrendered to the Lord Jesus it begins.
WHEN YOU DO?
IT WILL NOT BE TOO RECOGNIZABLE, cause:

” So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:11
Consider yourself dead. That’s a pretty striking statement. We love
to talk about being “alive” in Christ. So why do I see so many
Christians trudging through life powerless, purposeless, and lost in
their pursuit of Jesus?
great culling away those who just do not get it... hope you aren't one such individual. what's the scene for those prepared? in the words of a great
man: "I don't know..." neither do i, yet the sadder comparison speaks for itself: Heaven or Hell; why would you get lazy when you understand what it's
like in either one? choices, hope everyone makes a wiser decision. He desires all people to be saved in His kingdom; away from those blistering years for
those who did not know Jesus while they were/are on terra firma; those who did not know Jesus while they were down here. may God bless your soul...
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16
Lord, bless us and this evening hour, and in Thy Mercy heal us all.
Do not think that suffering is the only path into My Kingdom. There are sunlit glades, and ways amid the loveliest flowers, along which the steps and hearts of men are drawn to Me. There are birds and laughter and butterflies, and warm, life-giving summer air, and with these as tender companions and friends, the Joy-Way into the Kingdom can be taken.
Bleak, cold, and desolate, brier-beset and stony, are not all the ways. Leave all to Me. The choice of ways, the guidance in the Way. But when the sunlight calls accept it gladly.
Even in the Spirit-World appreciation results from contrary experience. Can the fireside of home be more dear than to the traveler who has forced his way over bleak moor and through blinding storm? Take to your hearts this word of cheer. “He will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able but will, with the temptation, also find a way of escape that ye may be able to bear it.”
The world is not the Kingdom. In the world ye shall have tribulation but “be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Live with Me, the Conquering Christ, and the Joy and Peace of conquest shall be yours too.
